Few Terminologies

Theology means “Study of God”



Systematic theology is, therefore, the division of theology into systems that explain its various areas. 



Theology Proper or Paterology is the study of God the Father. 


Christology is the study of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. 



Pneumatology is the study of God the Holy Spirit. 



Bibliology is the study of the Bible. 


Soteriology is the study of salvation. 



Ecclesiology is the study of the church. 



Eschatology is the study of the end times. 



Angelology is the study of angels. 



Christian Demonology is the study of demons. 



Christian Anthropology is the study of humanity. 



Hamartiology is the study of sin.



Question: “What is premillennialism (Chiliasm)?”

Answer: Premillennialism is the view that Christ’s second coming will occur prior to His millennial kingdom, and that the millennial kingdom is a literal 1000-year reign of Christ on earth.


Question: “What is postmillennialism?”

Answer: Postmillennialism is an interpretation of Revelation chapter 20 which sees Christ’s second coming as occurring after the “millennium,” a golden age or era of Christian prosperity and dominance.


Question: “What is amillennialism?”

Answer: Amillennialism is the name given to the belief that there will not be a literal 1000-year reign of Christ.
